Interview conducted by Jim M. Dandy as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on November 15, 1990. Dee talks about her early life on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, her experiences at a boarding school in Kayenta, Arizona, her converstion to the Mormon Church, and her experiences on the Mormon Church Indian Placement Program. She talks about attending Brigham Young University and her employment at high schools in San Juan County, Utah. She tells about her courtship and marriage.
